If I had a shop...

My Highlights of BCTF 2014

I have just got back from exhibiting at The British Craft Trade fair in Harrogate. Feeling rather blerry eyed but very happy to have met some wonderful new stockists and catch up with existing Lucy Alice stockists. All to be revealed soon!

As I was sat at my stand I started to wonder which products I would pick to stock in my imaginary bricks and mortar shop. It must be such a huge task to think of collections, customers and calculations but Im sure a lot of the selections made are simply down to a love of beautiful things. If you love it, it will be much easier to sell it to somebody else right?!

Anyhow he is a small selection from the talented bunch at this years fair...

Memo Illustration

Gorgeous screen printed stationery inspired by vintage finds. All made by Helen, a self confessed collector and hoarder of 1940's and 1950's memorabilia. Kitsch, colourful and fun.

Jewellery handmade by designer Ellie Ingram. Playful miniatures such as jam on toast and cassette tapes are beautifully made into jewellery that tells a story and will be treasured for a lifetime.

Lauren van Helmond

I just love these...

 Megan Alice England

Bright and Bold screen printed textiles by Megan Alice England. Her stand stood out from the rest, a lovely fresh collection that makes you smile.

Sarah Jane Brown

Beautiful, delicate metal sculptures made with driftwood and plenty of character! I can just see one of these on my mantelpiece.
